WHY PHYSICIANS

travel here

TO CERTIFY.

01 — Environment

Practical Training facilities

Our venues are built for skill stations, simulation, and the hands-on practice the ATLS curriculum is designed to deliver.

02 — FACULTY

PRACTICING CLINICIANS, NOT THE LECTURE CIRCUIT

Our faculty are all ACS-approved or eligible ATLS instructors — practicing trauma surgeons and emergency medicine physicians who treat injured patients in Texas hospitals every week. They bring current, locally relevant case experience into every skill station.

03 — PRICING

Affordable, transparent pricing

Pricing is published, flat across all provider levels for the Refresher, and split only between physicians and advanced practitioners for the Traditional Course. We verify your eligibility before you pay — so you never register for the wrong course.

04 — ACCESS

Open to providers from across the country and beyond

We welcome candidates from across Texas, throughout the United States, and internationally. Many of our students travel specifically to Houston or San Antonio to complete their ATLS certification with us — both for the training quality and for the straightforward logistics of two well-located Texas venues.

Built for Texas Trauma Care

Texas runs one of the largest, busiest trauma systems in the country — from the Texas Medical Center to the rural hospitals that anchor care across the Hill Country, the Valley, and the Panhandle. The providers staffing these facilities deserve training that reflects the work they actually do.

That’s what we built Lonestar Trauma Educators around in 2014, and it’s why we still teach every course the same way today: in real facilities, with practicing clinicians, at honest prices.
